Imagine it’s late November, it’s been a warm summery day, you’ve had a big week and you’re booked in for a ‘beer night’ at Snout in the Trough with your friends or family. Sound like fun?
We’re now taking bookings for our much anticipated night to launch Sow and Piglets beers in Camperdown.
The night will showcase craft beers brewed just down the road in Port Campbell by Sow and Piglets Brewery. Owner John Moloney and chief brewer Julian Widera will be in the house to talk about the different beers, how they are made and their key characteristics.
What’s it going to cost me you may well ask!
Well for $50 per person, you’ll get a welcome schooner of Kolsch and then enjoy 4 degustation-size 200ml beers while John and Julian talk about them. Of course Jarrod’s amazing American style finger food flying out of the kitchen to enjoy as well (see the menu below) – all included in your $50.
Please note, non beer drinkers will be able to enjoy a few glasses of wine of equal value.
The Sow and Piglets beers on the night will be;
- Gurley Gold Hefeweizen
- German Kolsch
- Billy Forbes Dark Lager
- Two Mile English IPA
Following the tastings, you will be able to purchase pots of these beers for $6 each straight from the tap.
The event will kick off at 6:30pm with beer on arrival. There’ll be 30 minutes to mingle and wash your hard week away before the tastings session kicks off at 7pm. We expect the night to conclude about 10pm.
Oh, and there’ll be reduced take home packs available as well.
Bookings are essential on 5593 3303. Don’t miss out.
