This Summer, you’re in for a real treat at Snout in the Trough in Camperdown. We’re temporarily moving away from our traditional Friday Night Dinners – instead deciding to hold four ‘Summer Nights at Snouts’ events.
They’re a cross between happy hour, a cocktail party and metro-style food fiesta.
On January 12 and 19, as well as February 2 and 16 and March 2 all you need to do is knock off work and wander down to Snout in the Trough for five hours of indulgence. You don’t even have to book – although if you’re coming as a large group, we’d love a heads-up.
The events will be very casual and are designed to cater for anyone and everyone. We’re so excited, our happy hour will go for two hours!
Between 5pm and 7pm you’ll be able to buy mainstream beers for $5 and house wine, bubbly and Prickly Moses beers for $7 – with pre-mixed spirits available for $9 and other drinks on our current menu available at regular bar prices.
We’ll have some tunes playing and Jarrod will have American-style food available for you to order, share and enjoy with friends and family.

Not Just a Veggie Burger
Jarrod’s secret recipe, which some say is the meatiest tasting veggie burger you’ll ever eat! Fries and salad. $21
Jerk Chicken Sandwich
Tender chicken breast marinated in spicy jerk seasoning, chargrilled and topped with cheddar cheese and served on a toasted brioche bun and lime mayo. $20
Gin Gin Mule
Tanqueray gin, spice ginger syrup, lime juice, mint and topped with ginger beer. Only for lovers of ginger! $15
Vodka, lychee juice, agave syrup, ice. Stirred not shaken. $15
Gin, raspberry syrup, lemon juice and egg white shaken for a silky finish. $15
Bacardi, lime juice, sugar syrup and loads of mint muddled together and topped with soda water. Very refreshing! $15
