Winter is a great time to enjoy hearty, honest meals, spirited social get togethers and the warm, unique ambiance of Snout in the Trough in Camperdown.

Our Friday night dinner on August 25 has already sold out, so we’ve decided to hold a second August dinner the previous Friday night – the 18th.

We are now taking bookings for the 18th and as usual, you can book for seating at 6.30pm, 7.00pm, 7.30pm or even 8.00pm if that suits you.

From fried ravioli, to homemade gnocchi, roasted spatchcock, trifle and brûlée, Jarrod has pulled together another amazing menu that is sure to book out quickly.

Priced at just $69 per person, the format for the night is a three course alternate drop.

This one will definitely sell out fast, so don’t hesitate to book a table or a couple of seats on one of our share-tables.

Bookings are essential, however please note that due to our closure from 4pm on Saturday the 29th of July to 8.30am on Tuesday the 8th of August, you will need to book by messaging us on Facebook, emailing info@snoutinthetrough.com.au or leaving a voice message on the cafe’s answering machine by calling 5593 3303.

FIRST

Fried ravioli with pumpkin tapenade

Mushroom and chorizo rye bread and butter pudding

SECOND

Pork and pancetta, pine-nuts house made gnocchi with crispy sage and pecorino

Roasted spatchcock, chestnut stuffing, roasted root vegetable and port reduction

THIRD

Winter Trifle – Timboon Distillery Limoncello soaked sponge finger, lemon curd, rhubarb and toasted meringue

Coffee and pear brûlée tart with vanilla bean ice cream
